If it’s still cool where you live, join us in chasing the sun to Palm Springs! Summer kicks off early in the desert, and the new Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells has everything we need to kick off our favorite season. It’s the perfect home base for exploring the absolutely iconic Palm Springs area, aka “Hollywood’s playground,” and taking in all the art, culture, and adventure all around.

What We're Doing:

Hitting the links, of course! Greater Palm Springs has been hailed as the “golf capital of the world,” with over a hundred world-class courses to explore. Early risers are rewarded with warm mornings and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Plus, wrapping up before the sun gets a proper grip means more time for poolside cocktails from the Chiki Palm or a little post-round massage at Spa Rosa. Mmmm... feels like summer!

When Things Start Heating Up, You’ll Find Us Here:

Poolside, seaside, or grill-side! We’ll be setting up camp anywhere water meets land, meals are served alfresco, and drinks are garnished with flowers. Whether that means cruising Key West or just pulling up to a friend’s place for an impromptu BBQ, we’ll be soaking up every moment!

What We’re Up To:

Summer is a season for pool parties, beach parties, garden parties, and destination weddings—and our RSVP will always be YES! Meet up for a concert in the park? We’ll bring the beach chairs! Headed to Hawaii to celebrate someone’s walk down the isle? We know where to find the best wedding gifts (plus reception-worthy outfits)! As far as we’re concerned, any sunny day is a perfect excuse for a get-together, even if it’s just a party for two on a patio with a view.

What We’re Wearing:

Depends on the day! When we need to look our best for social events in the sunshine, it has to be a silk camp shirt for him and an elegant midi dress for her. For those beach parties and pool parties, we’ll be rocking the best swimwear under the sun.

When it’s Too Hot to Think, You’ll Find Us Here:

On the water. In the water. Or just hanging out at the *coolest* places in town (specifically places with ice-cold drinks and climate control). If the sand is getting “melt your flip-flops" hot, it’s time to head farther out on the water where every breeze is cooled by the ocean. No coast? No problem. A Tommy Bahama summer is also going down (up?) on mountain lakes with water so clear you could count the pebbles on the lakebed. Most days, though, you’ll probably just find us at our nearest watering hole...

What We’re Doing:

Remember the siren song of ice-cream trucks rolling down the street when you were a kid? We’re bringing back that vibe with live music and Marlin Bars. Beat the heat with an air-conditioned shopping trip and then grab a seat at the bar for a Coconut Cloud Martini or ice-cold Tommy G&T. Time your trip right and you can settle in for a little live music while the sun sets. Not a bad way to spend a hot day.
