
Piña Colada
Fresh pineapple distinguishes this drink from the pack, adding a bright aroma and flavor to the tropical favorite. An extra pour of dark rum on top makes for more drama and a boozy punch.
Makes 1 drink
2 oz. white rum
1 3/4 oz. Coco López®
8–10 one-inch pineapple cubes
1 cup crushed ice
1 oz. dark rum, for floating
1 pineapple wedge, for garnish
1 pineapple leaf, for garnish
Add the white rum, Coco López®, and the pineapple cubes to a blender. Add 1 cup of ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a hurricane glass. Gently pour the dark rum over a spoon held directly over the drink, rounded side up, so it “floats” on the top of the drink. Garnish with the pineapple wedge and leaf.
