Dissappointed
Thought we found the perfect beach chair, paid over $200 for 2 chairs. Used them last summer and again this past summer. The seam on the bottom where its stitched across the back bar gave way and ripped right in the center! Contacted Tommy Bahama and told its out of warranty. For $200 we got 2 summers. I have chairs older than my kids in better shape. I thought I was shopping with Tommy Bahama, not some vendors warranty. They said they stand by their products, not this time.

Lid won't close
I was so excited about having shade at the beach. But the second time I took this chair to the beach the lid started sticking. I don't mean a little, but nearly impossible to lift up and down. I paid what I consider alot for this chair and I expected much more from this brand.

Seam is separating between back and seat
For a $100 chair that is used by adults sparingly, a tear is unacceptable. I see from a previous review that this might be a design flaw, as it's happening to others as well. I can find nothing in regards to a guarantee or warranty on defects. We purchased another this year prior to finding the tear. Had I known this would be an issue, I would have purchased elsewhere. I'll add a photo later, but trust the reviews you're reading. Blah

Love these chairs BUT poor construction
Our daughter bought me this beach chair for Christmas and I immediately bought another one for my wife. We've used the chairs maybe 6 times and always take good care of them. Now the seam between the back and seat is separating. Clearly a design or manufacturing defect since e it is happening to both chairs. I recognize the 1 year warranty period has passed but I was only offered a 35% discount towards the purchase of new ones. Disappointed a premium brand would not accommodate a long time customer and replace the defective chairs.
